What To Expect

Your First Visit to Bethpage Chiropractic & Nutritional Wellness

Our patients appreciate that we sit down with them and explain things first. The purpose of your consultation with Dr. Kelley is to discuss your health issues and your health goals and determine if Structural Correction is likely to help you.

Dr. Kelley will take a complete health history with you. Next, you will have an structural exam that will consist of computerized spinal analysis, computerized muscle analysis and structural x-rays (if needed) of the spine.

Your Second Visit

On your second visit, the results of all your tests & exams will be reviewed with you. We will give you our clinical findings and treatment options that are best suited for your particular condition.

This two-visit approach accomplishes several things:

  • Gives us time to correlate our findings
  • Reduces the length of your first visit
  • Tailor a plan of care to correct your problem
  • Begin immediately treating you to get you back to feeling better than ever!

Regular Visits

After the investment of time needed on the first and second visits, many patients become concerned that every visit will be of equal length.

In a word: no. A typical office visit may require just five to 10 minutes.

But don’t think the brevity of a regular visit lessens its value! With the groundwork laid, we can quickly size up the condition of your spine and nervous system, adjust you and get you on your way.

Like a regular workout at the gym, each visit builds on the ones before. Miss a visit and you can lose the momentum necessary to make the needed changes.

We recognize your time is valuable. So we do everything possible to run on time and minimize the impact on your busy life.

Despite my recent new injury to my neck I have to acknowledge a gratitude to all of you for helping and caring about my health. You never loose sight of an important aspect of healthcare, which is so quickly forgotten by most practices. In regards to hip pain I have made a 90% recovery. Although I do have infrequent bouts of symptoms my overall progress has improved greatly and I look forward to the day I am pain free (if possible ha! ha! ha!) and I am most grateful for your persistent treatment especially during my neck injury. I really think that I would not have healed half ask quickly without you. Thank you JH
